How it Opens

Bright citrus cuts through right away, but this is not a light summer-fresh style. Cardamom gives it a crisp spicy kick, while grapefruit and mandarin keep it energetic for a few minutes before the richer side starts showing. You get a dressed-up, evening-leaning impression early on: clean enough to feel put together, but clearly warmer, deeper, and more assertive than a casual daytime scent.
How it develops

As it settles, the aromatic side comes forward with lavender and geranium adding a barbershop-clean touch, while orris brings a soft, slightly powdery texture that smooths everything out. Then the base takes over with woods, leather, patchouli, and vanilla. Patchouli here reads earthy and dark rather than muddy, and the vanilla adds warmth instead of dessert-like sweetness.
